  • Can i file for reimbursement from my insurance company for the the Home Sleep Apnea test?
    Yes, we will provide you with an invoice and procedure codes for all diagnostic testing. However, it is always recommended that you contact your insurance company to find out what their policies are on home sleep apnea testing.
  • Can i use my HAS or FSA account to pay for the sleep study?
    Yes, the home sleep apnea test is considered a qualifying medical expense.
  • Do i need a prescription/referral from my doctor to order a Home Sleep Apnea Test online?
    No, because we do not accept insurance, we can offer home testing for sleep apnea at a greatly reduced price of $175.00
  • Do the Home Sleep Apnea test that Somno Services provide comply with DOT and FAA regulations?
    Yes, we have completed home sleep testing for pilots and drivers in the past. However, it is suggested that you check with your employer prior to ordering a home sleep apnea test
  • What if my sleep study shows that i have sleep apnea?
    You will have several treatment options which we will gladly discuss with you once you receive your test results.
  • What does the cost of the Home Sleep Apnea test include?
    The $175.00 fee includes rental of the home sleep apnea testing device for 2 consecutive nights. The shipping fee to you and return. A completed and signed interpretation by a board certified sleep specialist with any recommendations.
  • How long after my sleep test will i get the results?
    Usually, your report and interpretation will be available in 3 to 5 days after returning to device.
